Nicola Campbell

Nicola Campbell is currently undertaking a Postgraduate Diploma in Public Health at the University of Otago. Nicola is from Indonesia and has an interest in infectious disease, injury, disaster preparedness and health impacts of climate change. Nicola is a volunteer with the New Zealand Red Cross and is part of the Dunedin Disaster Welfare Support Team, National Youth Panel and the Rōpū Hāpai Māori.

Over the 2020/2021 Summer, Nicola completed a summer studentship at the Injury Prevention Research Unit, Department of Preventive and Social Medicine. She examined the contribution of weather-related factors to the burden of work-related fatal injury (WRFI) in New Zealand.
